I'm a slacker-but here are some pictures from Trent's birthday. We made a rainbow cake for the first time!
It didn't turn out so well, the recipe said to only add sprite and NOTHING else to the cake mix-it wasn't good...so next time I plan to follow the regular recipe.

As far as the sprite thing, I don't know if it was maybe just that recipe but I know for regular cake mixes you can add a diet soda (you can play with the flavors and have fun) and nothing else and the cake turns out just fine. No one knows any diffent unless they can taste a flavor of soda you use- I do it all the time and no one ever knows. Sometime after I tell them then they try to taste a difference and can sometimes taste the soda, but no one ever dislikes it. Try in a redualr cake sometime, it's not bad :)
